![]() This may not seem like a major distinction, but if you have a 40 page document it would be a major undertaking to create a text box with a list of numbers on each page. Page two can't start with line 1 again, it must be from 41-80 and then 81-120 on page 3. ![]() I need each line to be sequentially numbered from the beginning of the document to the end. So every page has the lines numbered from 1-40. It just relists your text box numbers from 1-40 (+/- depending on the size of your text) on every page. If you read it closely (or try it) you just create a text box and put it on the master. I can't find any evidence that this is possible in Pages. When I open MS Word documents with line numbering enabled the pages document doesn't have the numbering. ![]() I've not been able to find a way to do that in pages. For work I must submit documents with each line sequentially numbered.
